The death of James "Jungle Jim" Stanley Walsh of Apohaqui occurred on September 23, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 65. Born in Saint John, a son of the late Stanley and Irene (Sullivan) Walsh, Jim was the husband of 40 years to Susan E. (Buchanan) Walsh. Besides his wife he is survived by his sons; David (Tanya) of Saint John, Daniel (Kaylynn) of Smiths Creek and John (Elizabeth) of Anagance, daughter-in-law Tammy Walsh of Smiths Creek, grandchildren; Shamya, Devon, Destiny, Bianca, Taylor, Dylan, Savannah, Jaxson and Benjamin, his brothers and sisters; Myrtle (Ernie) Nelson of Sussex Corner, Mike (Lorraine) Walsh of Hampton, Paul (Sandra) Walsh of Salt Springs, Margaret (Eldon) Marchbanks of Hampton, Fred (Karen) Walsh of Sussex, Sharon (Ralph) Nelson of Sussex, Bill (Anna) Walsh of Midland and Tommy (Janet) Walsh of Hampton and sister-in-law Peggy Walsh of Apohaqui. Jim was predeceased by his eldest son Christopher in August of 2010, sister B. Irene Walsh and brothers Henry and Richard Walsh. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Saturday from 7-9PM and Sunday from 1-3 and 7-9PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday September 27, 2010 at 11:00AM, at the Sussex Wesleyan Church. Interment will be at Riverbank Cemetery.
