The death of H. Kenneth Taylor, husband of Sharon E. (Trueman) Taylor of Millbrook, NB occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on January 3, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Sussex, on August 13, 1951, he was a son of Harold and Gertrude (Creighton) Taylor of Dutch Valley. Ken was employed by Cementation as a heavy equipment mechanic and enjoyed being a member of the Sussex Golf and Curling Club. In addition to his wife and parents, Ken is survived by his daughter Hilary Taylor at home, son Troy Taylor (Amy) of Midland, grandson Zachery Kenneth and step-grandchildren Cole and Emma, sisters-in-law Susan Malone of Fredericton and her children Laura, Patrick and Emily, Karen Trueman of Moncton and her child Brianne, Lori-Anne Mortimer (Mark) of Mendon, Mass. and their children Graysen and Delaney, brother-in-law Darrell Trueman (Janet) of Port Perry, ON and their children Abby and Lauren, niece Trudy Dawn Cormier (Lucien), nephew David Taylor (Christa) and great niece Faith Taylor, father-in-law Kenneth (June) Trueman of Dorchester and mother-in-law Mona Bennett of New Horton, NB, aunts, uncles and cousins. Ken was predeceased by his brother Ernest Taylor, brother-in-law David Trueman and step father-in-law Richard Bennett. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday January 7, 2009 at 2:00PM with Jeanette Cosman officiating. Interment will be at Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner in the spring. Donations made to the Extra Mural Sussex Unit and the Red Cross, Sussex would be appreciated.
