Obituary of Carol Ann Cripps
Carol Ann Cripps, 74, of Apohaqui, passed away peacefully at her residence on April 16, 2013. Born in Rothwell, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Nelson and Victoria (nee Barton) Parlee. Carol Ann was an avid bowler with the Thursday afternoon league and also attended the Penobsquis Baptist Church Senior’s Group. She loved fishing, flowers, and bus trips, but most of all she loved being around her family. She enjoyed being involved with the local bird watching group as well as her trips to Florida. Carol Ann is survived by her companion, George Moore; children: Deborah Johnson (John) of Sussex Corner and Greg (Petra) Cripps of Apohaqui; grandchildren: Colin Johnson (Kendra), Jeff (Amy) Johnson, Sarah Cripps, Alex Cripps, and Justin Cripps (Colleen); great-grandchildren: Tyrone, Halaina and Haylee; sister, Margaret (Donald) Baylis of Mississauga, ON; nieces: Sherry (Tom) Needes and Kathy (Jackson) Densmore; and nephew, John Wayne Murdoch. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sussex Select Community Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 2:00pm with Rev. Kevin Vincent presiding at the Atlantic Community Church in Apohaqui. Donations to the Sussex Extra Mural or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
