Obituary of Eldon Graham

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Eldon Graham which occurred at the Sussex Health Center, July 29, 2015. Born in Gagetown on February 1, 1936 he was a son of the late Everett & Pearl (Mitchell) Graham. Besides his wife Doris Rodgers of 53 years, he leaves one daughter Kimberley Vail of Sussex, one son Blake Graham (Diane Leblond) of Port Stanley, ON, one granddaughter Emily Vail and one step granddaughter Chloe. Also left to mourn are sisters Helen (Sidney) Davidson of Jeffries Corner, Blanche Scott (Dario) of Calgary, Jessie Critchley (Irvine Coates) of Sussex and long time friends Clarence Otis & Willis Anderson. Besides his parents, Eldon was predeceased by sisters Olive Cruickshank & Lucy Francis. Eldon was a member of the St. John’s United Church, Sussex Corner, served as an Elder, Stewarts and trustee and also a member of the Men’s group. He was also a member of the Queen’s County Historical Society and a member of LOL #78, Waterford. Eldon always enjoyed going to Gagetown and talking with old friends. If you wish to make a memorial donation to St. John’s United Church, Sussex Corner, or to a charity of the donor’s choice, it would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been left in the professional care of the Sussex Select Funeral Home where visiting will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held at St. John’s United Church on Sunday August 2, at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gene Fisher presiding. On-line condolences are available at www.sussexfh.com
