Marilyn was born in Sussex on November 20, 1947; she was the daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth "Betty" (Hayes) Monahan. Marilyn was an employee of Shopper Drug Mart and a member of St. Francis Xavier RC Church. She will live on in the hearts of her parents; her beloved husband, Don; their children: Jennifer Hart and her husband Jamie of Norton; Jackie Erb and her husband David of Drurys Cove and Wendy Douthwright and her husband Kevin of Apohaqui; six grandchildren: Jacob, Isaac, Andrew, Matthew, Blake and Carter; three sisters: Judy Freeze and her husband Donnie of Sussex, Shirley Scott and her husband Allison of Roachville and Carol Veysey and her husband Rob of Saint John; three brothers: Donnie Monahan and his wife Maggie of Sussex, Gary Monahan and Pam Beek of Sussex and Earl Monahan of Sussex; her brother-in-law, Ron Goddard and his wife Debbie of Riverview; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Marilyn Page of Sussex, passed away on October 31, 2008 at the age of 60. Marilyn was predeceased by her sister, Jean Goddard who passed away in 1986. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex (506-433-1176). From where visitation will be held on Sunday from 7-9pm and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Mass of christian burial will be held from St. Francis Xavier Church on Tuesday, November 3, 2008 at 11:00am. The interment will take place in Wards Creek Cemetery.
