Snodgrass, Greta C. The death of Greta Christina Snodgrass, formerly of Sussex, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on June 13, 2008. Greta was born in Saint John in 1920, a daughter of the late George and Olga (Walker) Hanson. She is survived by her daughter Eileen Taylor of Picadilly, brother Lloyd Hanson (Juanita) of Sussex Corner, sisters; Gladys Sherwood of Upperton, Doris Olson of Cassidy Lake, and Wendy Bach of Poodiac, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Greta was predeceased by her partner Edgar (Mickey) Burnett, daughter Shirley Brewer, great granddaughter, Jackie Brewer, brothers; Bill and Gordon and sister Pam McKay. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506) 433-2133 on Monday 3-5 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday June 17, 2008 at 10:30 am. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery, Saint John. www.sussexfh.com
