Seymour, David Frederick, 78, of Berwick, passed away on January 26, 2015 at the Sussex Health Centre. Born in Long Island, New York in 1936, he was a son of the late Stanley and Stella (nee Cosman) Seymour; loving husband of Celia (nee Stewart) Seymour; father of Bruce (Sharon) Seymour of Lower Millstream and Debbie (Jamie) Forsythe of Berwick; grandfather to Scott, Lisa and Trevor Seymour and Corey (Cassidy Black) Forsythe; great- grandfather to Logan and Cayden Black; brother to Lois Stewart and Gordon (Shirley) Seymour; brother-in-law to Marina Lemmon, Pauline Muir, Shirley Howe and Carole (Don) Hayes; as well as an uncle to several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Dave was predeceased by his brother Walter Seymour. Dave was a member of the Millstream Volunteer Fire Department for 21 years. He loved hockey and thoroughly enjoyed getting to his grandchildren’s hockey games. He loved putting jigsaw puzzles together and spending time with his valued friends. Dave made a career as a mechanic and formed his own business in radiator repairs in 1974 until he retired in 2007. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Rd, Sussex. At the request of Dave there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of Dave’s life will be held at the Millstream Recreation Center on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
