David Gerald Parlee, 55, of Drury’s Cove, passed away unexpectedly at home on March 11, 2014. Born in Sussex, he was a son of the late Vernon and Marion (nee Illsley) Parlee. David enjoyed the outdoors, going fishing, four-wheeling and especially hunting. He loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. David is survived by his son, Andrew Parlee (Amber) of Drury’s Cove; his sisters: Patrica Holder (George) of Pearsonville, Edith McCrea (Richard) of Collina, and Jean Parlee (Frank) of Petitcodiac; his brother Walter Parlee of Drury’s Cove; his grandchildren: Jayce, Dallas, and Brycelyn; as well as by many extended family members and friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133), from where visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm; a service celebrating David’s life will be held in Sussex Select Community Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 15, at 11:00 am with Rev.
