The death of G. Andrew “Andy” Davis of Sussex, NB occurred unexpectedly on January 13, 2007 at Kamloops, BC. Andy was the husband of the late Dorothy J. (Crothers) Davis who passed away July 25, 2006. He was born at Smiths Creek in 1929, a son of the late Harry and Laura (Keith) Davis. Over the years Andy had been active in his church and many community organizations. He had a great love of hockey, trailering, card games and the special times spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Andy is survived by his daughter Connie Creamer (Michael) of Saint John, son Dwain Davis (Jan) of Kamloops, BC, grandchildren Joe, Kevin and Lauren Davis, Jason and Peter Creamer, four great grandchildren, brothers; Thomas (Joanne) of Waterborough, Al (Pearl) of Truro, NS, a sister Frances Smith (Stuart) of Kent Bridge, ON, daughter in law Barb Davis of Millbrook and her four children, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Don Davis. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133) on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday January 19, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Anglican Church, Sussex. Interment will be at Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner in the spring.
