Cunningham, Vera Grace, 75, of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Center on November 19, 2009 surrounded by her family. Born in Lower Kars, she was a daughter of the late A. Bruce and Vera J. (London) Morrell. Vera is survived by her husband, Murray Cunningham; daughter, Jane Lees (Steve) of Grimsby, ON; sons: Alvin (Barb) of Kiersteadville, and John (Janet) of Glace Bay, NS; her sister, Christena Creighton-Murphy (Hudson) of Sussex; grandchildren: Amie (Johnston), Natalie, Kaylie, Eric, Amanda, Joshua, Riley, and Cassidy; great-grandchild, Kaiden; as well as by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Vera was predeceased by her sister, Katie Murphy, and her brother Hilford. Visitation will be held on Sunday November 22, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in Sussex Select Community Funeral Home; the funeral service will be held on Monday November 23, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Sussex United Baptist Church with Rev.
