The death of J. Allan Richardson of Sussex occurred January 10, 2005 at the Sussex Health Center. Allan was born at Waterford, NB in 1915 a son of the late John E & Ada (Hawkes) Richardson. He is survived by his wife Helen H (Hall) Richardson, son David and wife Evelyn of Urney, daughter Carolyn Lisson and husband Kenneth of Lower Cove, 4 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Allan was predeceased by brothers Warren, Harris, Victor, Harvey, Murray and Raymond and sisters Eva Friars, Greta Richardson, Margaret Anderson and Evelyn Eveleigh. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home 21 Aiton Road (433-2133) on Wed 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 13 at 2pm at the Church of the Ascension Apohaqui. Interment in Trinity Cemetery Sussex Corner in the spring.
