The death of Mary Alfreda “Freda” Landry of Picadilly, occurred on March 15, 2009 at her residence at the age of 70. Born in Notre Dame, NB a daughter of the late Alfred and Laudia (Babineau) Landry. Freda is survived by her partner and friend Ronald N. Orr, her siblings; Eva Reinhart (Wilfred “Buddy”) of Quispamsis, Eddie (Mary) Landry of Colpitts Sett., Valerie (Rita) Landry of Dundee, NB, Norma Daigle (Norbert) of Marlboro, Mass., Jeanette Landry (Andre) of Montreal, Rhea Landry (Bill Bedford) of Garner’s Creek, Rita Eagle (Graham Brake) of Salisbury, Geneva Richard of Acadieville and several nieces and nephews and their children. Freda was predeceased by her brother Philippe Landry. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 18, 2009 at 2:00PM at the St. John’s United Church, Sussex Corner.
