Obituary of George Edwin Gregg
The death of George Edwin Gregg of Sussex occurred at the Moncton City Hospital on May 23, 2006 at the age of 93. Born at Marrtown, NB a son of the late Ira and Annie (McKnight) Gregg and was the husband of the late Hazel O. Gregg, who passed away in 2004. George is survived by his daughters; Beatrice Obermeier (John) of Springfield, Doris Cruickshank (Arthur) of Sussex, Elva Steeves (Whitfield) of Dunsinane, NB, Sharon Boyd (Larry) of Norton and Sheila Bozic (Paul) of Oshawa, ON, sons, Norman (Sharron) Gregg of Lower Millstream and Gordon (Elsie) Gregg of Sussex Corner, twenty-four grandchildren, Neil Obermeier and his wife Roberta, Grant Obermeier and his wife Wanda, Karen Kennedy and her husband Darryll, Vincent Gregg and his wife Beverlee, Jeffrey Gregg and his wife Sandra, Russell Gregg and his wife Richelle, Timothy Gregg and his wife Connie, Philip Gregg, Nathan Gregg and his wife Jamie, Heather Welton and her husband John, Lyle Cruickshank, Blynn Cruickshank and his wife Annette, Dana Cruickshank and his wife Carmen, Stephanie McLean, Kevin Steeves and his wife Faye, Darian Steeves, Melody Thorne and her husband Kent, Fonda Baskins and her husband David, Angela Armstrong and her husband Stephen, Tanya Reicker and her husband Rory, Julie Bozic, Jennifer Limbiotacos and her husband Christopher, Daniel Bozic and Crystal Bozic, twenty-eight great grandchildren, Daniel and Craig Obermeier, Tyson Kennedy (Ashley) and Kaitlyn Kennedy, Marissa Gregg, Simon Gregg, Casey and Emma Gregg, Skylar and Graycen Welton, Cole Cruickshank, Candace McLean, Carter and Cody Cruickshank, Hannah and Bronwyn Cruickshank, Jessie McLean, Cortney McLean, Barry Steeves and his wife Lindsay, Rebekah Steeves, Larissa and Justus Thorne, Wade and Megan Baskins, Kristen and Luke Armstrong, Jacob and Nicholas Limbiotacos, one great great grandson Jacob Steeves and one great great granddaughter Madison Kennedy. He was predeceased by sisters Essie Turner and Velma McAuley and brothers Harley, Harry, Millidge, Ralph and Arthur. The family will receive visitors at Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church, Sussex on Friday May 26, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Gosline Cemetery, Knightville.
