The death of Oscar Calvin Fenwick of Petitcodiac, and formerly of Jordan Mountain and Sussex, occurred at the Moncton City Hospital on July 17, 2004. Born at Sussex, he was the son of George and Ida Bessie (MacLeod) Fenwick and husband of Marie (Grimmet) (Graves) Fenwick. In addition to his wife Oscar is survived by two sons, Calvin (Janet) of Plumweseep, Eric (Jean) of Sussex, four daughters Joyce Thorne of Sussex, Dorena Mason (John) of Head of Millstream, Deborah Finley (Bruce) of Riverview, Alegra Sharpe (Larry) of Sussex, eighteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a sister Elva Kinnear McKnight of Bowmanville, ON and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Oscar was predeceased by his first wife Iva (Fougere) Fenwick in 1980, his brother Vernon, sisters Olive Dyker and Freda Skelly, one half brother Lawrence Fenwick, two half sisters Myrtle Coggan and Ivy Fenwick. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 21, 2004 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Calvin Fenwick officiating. Interment will be at Lower Millstream United Baptist Cemetery, Lower Millstream. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Salvation Army, the Lower Millstream United Baptist Cemetery or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
