The death of Louise Schofield of Sussex Corner occurred at the Sussex Health Center on March 6, 2005. Born at Mt. Pisgah in 1923 she was the daughter of the late James and Mildred (Perkins) McQuinn. In 1945 she married Donald Schofield and resided in Newtown for 28 years, then moving to Sussex Corner in 1973. She was a member of the U.C.W. in Newtown and Sussex Corner, then transferred to St. Paul's in Sussex in 1997, and joined the Agape Unit. She is survived by her husband Donald Schofield, daughter Linda Tabor and her husband Walter of New Line, grandchildren Bruce, Carol and Wayne Tabor, sisters Pauline Carr of Sussex and Marion Bird of Quispamsis, brother Walter McQuinn and his wife Helen of Moncton, sister in law Phyllis McQuinn of Sussex and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by grandson Steven Tabor and two brothers Gerald and Harold McQuinn. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 9, 2005 at 2:00 PM at St. Paul's United Church, Sussex with Reverend Philip Dallimore officiating. Interment will be at Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner in the spring. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
