Obituary of Helen E. Watters
Helen E. Watters passed away peacefully with family at her side on Monday, October 27, 2003 at Protem Health Services in Moncton. Helen moved from her home in Sussex to the wonderful care of the staff at Protem Residence in the summer of 2001. Helen was born at Model Farm, NB on April 24, 1924, the only child of the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Warman) Marr. Helen was married for 51 years to the late Donald J. Watters. She was an active member of Trinity Anglican Church and a faithful volunteer for many community services. Helen is survived by her son James and wife Nancy Grieve Watters of Fox Hill, twin daughters Sheila Watters of Sussex and Sharon Posner of Lynwood, New Jersey, seven grandchildren, Seamus, Anna, Ian and Ellen Watters, Lena and Brian Posner and Michelle Demsey. Helen was predeceased by an infant son, Richard Edward Watters. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 30th, 2003 at 11 AM at Trinity Anglican Church, Sussex, with Reverend David Barrett officiating. Interment will be at Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Alzheimer's or the Arthritis Societies would be appreciated.
