Obituary of Verlie Ruth Campbell
The death of Verlie Ruth Campbell of Sussex occurred at the Moncton Hospital on June 14, 2010 at the age of 75. Born in Parkside, NB, she was a daughter of the late John and Mabel (Northrup) Hall. Verlie is survived by her children; Sharon Murphy of Pearsonville, Robert Ross (Bev Joynes) of Snider Mountain, Barbara (Ralph) Bird of Winnipeg, Jennifer Campbell of Calgary and Scott Campbell (Lorna Collins) of Moncton, 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, a sister; Lorna Watkins of Apohaqui, brothers; Robert (Josephine) Hall of Sussex Corner and Glendon (Peggy) Hall of Beechwood, NB. Verlie was predeceased by husbands Ronald Ross and Arlington Campbell and sisters Mona Chambers and Edris Brace. Verlie loved visits, especially from her grandchildren. She was very talented with her hands, she loved to knit and was a beautiful sewer, she crocheted and quilted and enjoyed going to the craft sales with her creations. She liked to play bingo and cards. Verlie collected ornamental dogs and had collected over 2500 salt and pepper shakers. As per Verlie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service held. A family committal service will be held at a later date.
