Obituary of Kenneth Foote
Rev. Kenneth Foote was born in Seal Cove, Grand Manan on April 10, 1939, he was the son of the late Otis Randal and Agnes (Fraser) Foote. He studied at Bethany Bible Collage in Yarmouth NS and in Sussex NB. After attending Bethany Bible Collage in Yarmouth NS, he was an evangelist work for Youth For Christ, then returned to Bethany Bible Collage in Sussex for his Bachelor of Arts (Religion). While living in Vancouver, during the 1980's, he began his work on a Masters of Theology degree through The Vancouver School of Theology. Rev. Foote was a minister with the Wesleyan and Free Methodist Churches. He pastored across Canada at the Stacyville Reformed Baptist Church, the Amherst Wesleyan Church, Tillsonburg Free Methodist Church, where he also had a radio broadcast, the New Westminster Free Methodist Church, the Fraserview Free Methodist Church, and the Powassan Wesleyan Church. During his time in the ministry he expressed his love for life and reaching out to others as he expressed God's love for them. He would spend many hours in prayer for the lost, and studying God's word. Ken also had a love of animals; he had a pet Eagle named Jim that he pulled from the nest and raised and two German shepherds, Silver and Tara.
