The death of Beatrice “Bea” Eileen Anderson of Birch Haven Special Care Home and formerly of Sussex occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on March 18, 2011 at the age of 83. Born in Isle Maligne, Quebec a daughter of the late Elmer and Dorothy (Taylor) Cole. Bea was the wife of the late Seth Anderson who passed away in 1986. Bea is survived by her children; Sharon (Mike) Dykeman of Calgary, Doug (Marlene) Robb of Sussex Corner, David Anderson of Timmins, ON, and Rick Anderson of Newtown, son-in-law Jordon Michelin of Happy Valley Goose Bay, Lab., grandchildren; Karen Best, Denise, Kim, Todd and Rene Michelin, Dorothy, Jenny and Richard Robb, Seth and Cole Dykeman, Layka Shay and Jenna Lackie, 14 great grandchildren, sisters; Verna Pearson of Sussex Corner, Gladys (Alex) Parisi of Oregon, Betty Mason, Shirley Hicks and Marjorie Arsenault all of Sussex, sister-in-laws; Jo Cole of Kingston, ON, Eileen Cole of Saint John, Eileen Cole of Sussex and Vivian Cole of Picadilly and several nieces and nephews. Bea was predeceased by a daughter Carol Michelin, granddaughter Cynthia (Robb) Larsen, sisters; Alma Cole and Isabelle Masters, brothers; Rodney, Donald, Robert, Phillip, Bliss and Frank Cole, brothers-in-law; Kenneth Pearson, Les Mason, Roland Hicks and Fred Arsenault. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Ladies Auxiliary Branch #20 of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Tribute on Wednesday at 1:45PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday March 24, 2011 in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Eugene Fisher officiating at 11:00AM. Interment will be at Gosline Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
