Obituary of Pauline Carr

It is with sadness, the family of Pauline Elizabeth Carr, age 92, of Sussex, NB, announces her death which occurred on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex, NB.

She was born in Mount Pisgah, NB, on June 26, 1925 and lived there until 1974 when she moved to Sussex. She was a daughter of the late James and Mildred (Perkins) McQuinn and wife of the late Murray Carr who died in January 1976.

Pauline is survived by her daughters: Rowena Anderson of Quispamsis, NB, Lori Carr of Toronto, ON; sons: John (Candace) Carr of Penobsquis, NB, Dennis (Jacki) Carr of Milestone, SK; grandchildren: Mellissa (Chris) Creighton, Jason (Deborah) Anderson, Jillian (Bill) Kiervin, Chelsea (Mike) Millican, Ryan Carr (Josie Almon), Tammy Heath, Kelly Carr, Shannon (Jordan) Bryks; great-grandchildren: Marissa, Josie, Willow, Lindsay, Ben, William, Isaac, Maggie, Eamon, Mckenna; brother Walter (Helen) McQuinn of Moncton, NB; sister Marion Bird of Rothesay, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents and husband, Pauline was predeceased by her son-in-law David Anderson; brothers Gerald, Harold and sister Louise Schofield.

Pauline was a member of St. Paul’s United Church and the United Church Women.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sussex Select Community Funeral Home (506-433-2133), 21 Aiton Road, Sussex.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 2:00PM from St. Paul’s United Church. A private family interment will take place at Gosline Cemetery.
