The death of Harris John DeVine of Smiths Creek, NB occurred on November 1, 2008 at his residence at the age of 66. Born at Hillsdale, NB a son of the late Hugh John and Lois E. (Adair) DeVine. John is survived by his children; Beth Armstrong (Brad) of Apohaqui, Heather DeVine (Mark Thompson) of Roachville, Stacy DeVine of Pearsonville and Randy (Mary Lou) DeVine of Wards Creek, four grandchildren, brothers Walter (Patricia) DeVine of Hillsdale, Bernard (Joan) DeVine of Sussex Corner and Doug (Diane) DeVine of Jeffries Corner and several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents and brother Robert DeVine. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, Sussex on Wednesday November 5, 2008 at 10:00AM. Interment will be at Wards Creek Cemetery.
