It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Wilkins, 60, of Markhamville. Barb is survived and always will be remembered by her husband Thomas, also of Markhamville; her sister Peggy (Val) Essiembre of Riverview; her daughter Mandy (Josh) Wright of Roachville; her son Tim (Terra) of Sussex Corner; her step sons: Cory (Dawn) of Norton, Adam (Amanda) of Hammondvale, Tyler (Samantha) of Saint John and Shawn of Kelowna B.C.; her grandchildren: Alex, Connor, Liliana, Kiera, Danika, Sheldon, Shane, Abby, Sadie and Owen as well as a large extended family. Barbara is predeceased by her mother, Thelma and her father Benjamin. Barb was an avid baker and loved to cook. She took great pride in the six children she and Tom shared. The family would like to thank the great nurses at the Sussex Health Center and especially the nurses and support staff in the dialysis unit, also to Dr. Symington and his wife, Jane. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, NB. A Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2015 at 2:00 pm in Sussex Select Community Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Fisher presiding. Interment will be held in the Markhamville Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
