Mr. William "Charles" Phillips of Boyd Loop Road Coles Island passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on August 22, 2008 at the age of 88. Born in Coles Island on December 19, 1919, he was the son of the late John and Marjorie (Boyd) Phillips. Charles is survived by Dora, his wife of 43 years as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Charles is the last surviving member of his immediately family. He is predeceased by his two sisters: Helen Landers and Geraldine Phillips.
