It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Philippe Bernier, of Sussex Corner, on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Philippe was born on January 28, 1934 in Cape St. Ignace, Quebec and was the son of the late Louis and Cecile (Belanger) Bernier and husband to the late Norene (Powell) Bernier. Philippe will be lovingly remembered by his children: Renee Gagne and her husband Guy, Marilyn Landers and her husband John, Raymond Bernier and his wife Cindy and Roger Bernier and his wife Sue; his brothers: Claude Bernier and his wife Cecile and Serge Bernier and his wife Diane, all of Quebec; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Arrangements are in the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, NB (506) 433-2213. In keeping with Philippe's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Donations in Philippe's memory can be made to the Sussex Red Cross or to a charity of your choice.
