After a courageous battle with cancer, Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Hunt of Sussex passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love and support of family and friends on November 18, 2008. Born in Sussex, on January 11, 1969, a daughter of Royce and Marjorie (Steele) Snider. Cindy married Andrew Hunt of Sussex and had four beautiful children; Hannah, Sarah, Helen and Isaac Hunt. As well as her husband, children and parents, Cindy is survived by her siblings; Louise Snider (Dan Boismere), Leslie Snider, Herbert (Tina) Snider, Shelly Bronnum , Sharon Huggins (Bain) and Wayne Snider, her parents-in-law Harley and Linda Hunt, brothers-in-law Barry (Heather) Hunt and Ian (Jackie) Hunt, her best friend Tanya Rose and her cat Princess Pom Pom. She was a very special aunt to her nieces and nephews, and always made the time to make each of them feel special. Cindy was predeceased by a brother-in-law Brian Bronnum, grandparents Herbert and Amelia Snider and Edgar and Tressa Steele. Cindy graduated from Sussex Regional High School in 1987 and the University of Prince Edward Island in 1992, with a Business Degree. She was a Mom extraordinaire, and enjoyed the time she spent working with Andrew at Home Hardware in Sussex. She loved her family and friends. Many happy times were spent in her home and in her backyard with her huge extended family. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, reading, entertaining and cooking. She had lots of good times with "The In Betweens". The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Thursday from 1-4 and 6-9PM. A celebration of Cindy's life will be held at St. Paul's United Church, Sussex on Friday November 21, 2008 at 2:00PM, followed by a private interment at Kirk Hill Cemetery.
