William “Bill” Hollis Parlee, 64, of Sussex, passed away on March 22, 2017 at Bobby’s Hospice in Saint John, NB. Born in Sussex, he was a son of the late Ernest and Gladys (nee Hollis) Parlee. Bill worked as a welder; and in his leisure time he loved to go for Sunday drives, work on cars, and be outside in the summer-time. He will be greatly missed by his loving companion Annie Foote; his daughter Crystal Barker (Rob); his son Tommy Parlee (Tara); his sisters: Pam of Chipman and Pat (Bernie) of South Branch; his brothers: Gord (Debbie) of Ontario, Jack (Lois) of Nova Scotia, and Bob (Cathy) of Sussex; his grandchildren: Lucas and Lexie Barker & Arlen Parlee; as well as by many extended family members and friends. Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by his wife Marilyn. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133). The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 11:00 am with Father Dan Bastarache presiding. There will be a time of fellowship following the service.
