Obituary of Stan McKenzie
Mr. Stan McKenzie was born in Midland, NB on May 30, 1949, he was the son of the late Leslie and Lucy (Greenslade) McKenzie. As a youngster one of Stan's favorite pastimes was going to visit Grammie Greenslade and sliding on the trunk of an old Ford. Stan was employed with Eastern Insulation in Saint John for over 15 years. After coming to Sussex Stan became better known as "Stan the Man". He made himself available for odd jobs such as renovations, painting, lawn care and yard sales. Stan loved riding around on his "little Cadillac" visiting friends and neighbors, country hymns, music, hunting and fishing. Stan is survived by his wife Rose, his son David of Fort McMurray, Alberta and David's mother Sheila Kincade and her husband Charlie of Hatfield Point, three sisters: Teresa Dibblee of Penobsquis, Donna Brown of Quispamsis, Bessie Green and her husband Art of New York, USA; four brothers: Gordon of Wickham, Blake of Saint John, Donald and his wife Elsie of Cherryvale, Doug and Heather of Saint John; two stepsons: Blair Marks and his wife Debbie of Wards Creek and Wayne Marks and his wife Pam of Alberta; his brother-in-law: Clifford Carter and his wife Ruthann of Edmonton, Alberta, three sisters-in-law: Eileen Hutchinson and her husband Fred of Mercer Settlement, Ethel Raymond and her husband Donald of Norton and Deborah Acker and her husband Claude of Norton; three granddaughters: Lisa, Kimberly and Allison; four step-grandchildren; Kristen, Jessica, Rebecca and Joshua; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
