Marjorie Irene Mason, affectionately known as “Marnie” by her great granddaughter Jazmyn, passed away at the Sussex Health Center on March 13, 2008 at the age of 94. Wife of the late Gordon P. Mason. Daughter of the late Oliver and Maude Kelly. Marjorie is survived by son Gordon Mason (Marjorie), Hamilton, On, daughters Zaversia Mae Archibald (Fraser), Sussex, and Cora McMillan-Briggs (Douglas), Millstream, 11 grand children, 16 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren, sisters Bernice and Helen, brothers Austin and Harris, and her little dog “Cuddles”. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by her infant daughter Isabelle Marjorie and Son-in-Law Henry McMillan. The family will receive visitors Saturday March 15, 2008 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133) The funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at the Abundant Life Church, Main Street, Sussex. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Head of Millstream. Donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
