The death of E.Bertha (Bertie) McLeod, of Lakeside,N.B. occurred on March 16,2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on February 15,1933 at Saint John, she was a daughter of the late John Arthur and Dorothy (Losier)Wedge. Bertie worked at the Co-Operators Insurance for 25 years retiring in 1989. She is survived by husband Gordon Dunfield ,sisters Dolores Oram of Hammond River, N.B.; Gloria McKinney of Riverview, N.B. and several nieces and nephews. Bertie was predeceased by husband Lawrence McLeod and brother John Wedge. By Bertie's request cremation will be followed by private interment at St. Martins Community Cemetery, St. Martins, N.B. in the spring.
