Olive Ada Weatherhead, 97, of Scenic View Care Home, formerly of Essex Street, passed away at the Sussex Health Center on February 28, 2012. Born in Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Althea (nee Lydia) McEwen. She is survived by several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, Olive was predeceased by her first husband, Claude Wilcox; brothers: Harvey and Ora McEwen; sisters: Maisie Crothers, Alma Gulliver, and Jean Bateman; and sister-in-law, Doris Ritchie. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1 to 2pm with the funeral service following at 2pm all at Sussex Select Community Funeral Home. Interment will be held in the Trinity Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
