Obituary of Robert Preston Fowler
Fowler, Robert “Bob” Preston, 61, of Millbrook, passed away at his home on May 30, 2011. Born in Sussex, N.B., he was the son of the late Preston and Elsie (McFarlane) Fowler. Bobby was passionate about many things in life especially his wife and family. He was born to fly fish and when he wasn’t with Janet you knew he could be found with any of his fishing buddies casting away. Bobby`s passions came to life when there was a paint brush in his hand, and loved to fill the family home with his wonderful paintings and artwork. Every corner of the Fowler home was graced with his own hands as he had a natural talent of woodworking. He was a brilliant man, an irreplaceable husband and father and a true friend to many. He loved life and always worked hard. Bob Fowler left a special mark in many people’s hearts, he will always be missed and never forgotten. He is survived by his wife, Janet Fowler (nee Mason); his daughters: Christin of Saint John, and Sherry of Calgary; his son Darrell (Kristina) of Picadilly; grandchildren: Hannah, Peyton, and Reagan. Besides his parents, Bob was predeceased by his son, Wade Fowler. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Thursday from 4 to 8PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Paul’s United Church with Scott Hillier officiating. Interment will be at Riverbank Cemetery following the funeral service.
