The death of Lois Jean Grant occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 20, 2007 at the Glades Lodge in Halifax, NS. Lois is the wife of Robert (Bob) B. Grant. They made their home in Halifax, NS and were formerly of Sussex Corner, NB. She was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late George and Marjorie (Campbell) Craft. Lois is survived by her husband; daughter Kathy Covey and her husband Larry of Lower Sackville; son Doug Grant of Lower Sackville; grandsons Matthew Grant and Jason Cannon both of Dartmouth, NS and Sisters, Patricia Crocker of Moncton and Doreen Phelps (Max) of Florida. She was predeceased by her brother Donald Craft. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 27, 2007, at St. Jude’s Anglican Church, 319 Lancaster Street, Saint John West with The Reverend David Kierstead officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
