The death of Evaline Rebecca (Dunn) Prosser of Penobsquis, NB, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on June 3, 2008 at the age of 95. Born at Clones, Queens County, New Brunswick a daughter of the late Alwood and Margaret (Armstrong) Dunn. She was the wife of the late James H. Prosser who passed away in 1999. Evaline is survived by her sister Jeanette Dykeman of Minto, niece Joanne Nicholson (Larry) of Minto, 3 great nieces and nephews, 2 great great nieces and nephews, her stepchildren; Morris (Deborah) Prosser, Gordon Prosser, Audrey Law (Trueman), Donna Hamilton (Everett) and Helen Bryant and many step grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Evaline was predeceased by an infant sister Agnes, infant brother Charles and brothers; Oliver (Doris), Edward and John (Ruth) Dunn, niece Constance Marie Dykeman, nephew Douglas Dunn and great great nephew J.J. McFarlane. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Wednesday from 6-9PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday June 5, 2008 at 3:00PM at the funeral home chapel with Reverend Allen Tapley officiating. Interment will take place at Gosline Cemetery. Donations made to St. Mark’s Anglican Church, the Kiwanis Nursing Home or the charity of the donor’s choice would appreciated.
