Ferris, George Ottie, 81, of Dutch Valley, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on September 18, 2013. Born in Mill Cove, he was a son of the late Stewart and Cleola Ferris. George is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beatrice Ferris (nee Jackson); his daughter, Susan Cromwell (Kenneth) of Plumweseep; his son, Lawrence Ferris of Dutch Valley; his brothers: Winslow Ferris (Edith) of Burton, and Calvin Ferris (Linda) of Fredericton; his grandchildren: Keith (Tracy) Cromwell of Smith Creek and Michael (Tasha) Cromwell of Saint John; great-grandchildren: Nataly & Jackson; as well as by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, and the funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm with Pastor Tim MacDonald presiding, all in Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133). Interment will be held in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Aiton Road, Sussex. Donations to the Sussex Health Centre would be appreciated by the family.
