The death of Gerald Eugene DeVine of Hillsdale occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on February 19, 2005. Born in Hillsdale, a son of the late Joseph and Annie Teresa DeVine. He is survived by his brothers Michael (Frances) DeVine and Elward DeVine both of Hillsdale and several nieces and nephews. Gerald was predeceased by his parents and an infant brother. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, Sussex on Tuesday February 22, 2005 at 11:00 AM with Father Arnie Hachey officiating. Interment will be at Wards Creek Cemetery in the spring. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
