The death of Edward Earl McNair of Sussex Corner occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on December 26, 2009. He was born at Roxborough, Kings County, NB in 1921, a son of the late Edward and Martha (Chambers) McNair. Earl is survived by his wife of 59 years M. Janet (Langell) McNair, their son William L. McMillan and his wife Katherine of Head of Millstream, grandchildren; Eric, Scott, Karen, Justin, Matthew and Rebecca, great grandchildren; Chad, Corey, Brittany, Brett, Erin and Courtney, his sister Jean Smith of Moncton and several nieces and nephews. Earl was predeceased by brothers; Ora, Raymond, Kenneth, Berton and Gordon and sisters; Louise, Marjorie and Eileen. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 30, 2009 at the Sussex Baptist Church at 2:00PM with Dr. Leo Gallant officiating. Interment will be at Riverbank Cemetery at a later date.
