Bertha Helen Moore of Apohaqui passed away at the Sussex Health Center on May 24, 2006 at the age of 81. Bertha was the daughter of the late Alfred and Martha (Beck) Keirstead. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, R. Stewart Moore, son George B. Moore of Apohaqui and daughter Deborah (Ronald) Powell of Millbrook, one granddaughter Maria Powell (Colin Friars) of Riverview, one grandson Anthony Powell of Millbrook, two sisters Myrtle Goddard of Waterford and Freda Kelly of Sussex, one brother Albert Keirstead (Helen) of Kitchener, ON and several nieces and nephews. Bertha was predeceased by sisters Arvilla and Vera, brothers Ervine and Earl. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506) 433-2133, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Silas James Memorial United Church, Apohaqui on Friday May 26, 2006 at 3:00 PM.
