The death of Elizabeth “Betty” Irene Coleman of Sussex Corner occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on October 10, 2009 at the age of 73. Born in Collina, NB, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Irene (Murphy) Fenton and was the wife of the late John R. Coleman who passed away in 1995. Betty is survived by John’s children; Josephine MacNeil (Wallace) of Drayton Valley, AB, Jack Coleman of Acton, ON and Bertha Johnston (George) of Sussex, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her sisters; Pauline Campbell of Chateauguay, Mary Radford (Hank) of California, Agatha O’Shea (Mike) of Laughlin, Nevada, Evelyn Davis (Arnold) of Lower Sackville, NS and her brother Lawrence Fenton (Marie) of Hampton. Betty was predeceased by her sister Juanita Cormier, and John’s daughter Glenna Mitton. Arrangements are in the care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133. As per Betty's request no visitation will be held. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, Sussex on Saturday October 17, 2009 at 11:00AM, with Father Arnie Hachey officiating.
