Mr. Russel Gordon Floyd, of Sussex, passed away on August 30, 2016 at the Sussex Health Centre surrounded by his loving family. Russel was born in Southfield, NB and was the son of the late Harold and Lila (Campbell) Floyd and the husband of Audrey (McLaughlin) Floyd. Russel will be lovingly remembered by his wife Audrey; his chidren: Connie Hanlin (Paul), Bonnie Loughery (Tom), Wanda Monahan (Bob Byers), Roxanne Dorian (Jamie), Danny Floyd (Rita Hanlin) and Darren Floyd (Kelly); his step-children: Marilyn Cormier, Stephen Lamb (Marion), Terry Lamb (Lori), Greg Lamb and Larry Lamb; several grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Russel was predeceased by his sister Lucy Law and his brothers: Cecil, Donald, Adolphus, Earl, George, Harold and Percy. Arrangements are in the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, NB (506)433-2133 from where visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A graveside service will take place at the Salt Springs Baptist Cemetery on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 1:00pm.
