Obituary of Ronald V. Carhart
The death of Ronald “Roy” V. Carhart of Sussex occurred on September 12, 2005 after a brief illness. Born in Cornwall England, he was a son of the late Thomas and Emily (Yates) Carhart and the husband of the late Muriel (Clements) Carhart. Roy was a kind and loving father and grandfather to; his daughters, Donna Browne (Earle) of Sussex and Deborah Carhart of New Glasgow NS, and his son Ken Carhart of Mons Belgium, two grandchildren; Rebecca “Becky” Plaggenborg and Todd Browne (Kim), great-grandchildren; Kari, Colin, Emily, Brodi and Nicole. Also survived by sisters; Gladys Donovan of Sussex, Ida McKnight of Sussex and Ruth Rouse (Harold) of Carsonville, brothers; Leonard of Carsonville, Murray of Roachville, Bill of Sussex and Edward “Buck” (Barb) of Carsonville. Roy was predeceased by his sisters; Joyce Doyle and Elizabeth Douthwright and brothers Thomas and Charles Carhart. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, 506-433-2133 on Thursday September 15, 2005 from 2-4 & 7-9PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday September 16, 2005 at 2:00PM at the Trinity Anglican Church, Sussex. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park, Sussex. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
