Obituary of Melvin D. Pearson
The death of Melvin D. Pearson of Highfield, New Brunswick occurred on October 17, 2003. Melvin was a son of the late Murray and Florence (Smith) Pearson. He is survived by his wife Patricia (Ellison) Pearson, daughters; Pamela and friend Paul of Dartmouth, Christine (Bill) Sharp of Norton and Wendy (Greg) Wark of Woodstock, sons; Paul (Helen) of Searsville, Douglas (Debbie) of Saskatoon, Wiley (Terry) of Campbellton and Anthony (Donna) of Dartmouth, 14 grandchildren including Terri (Keith) Savoy and Sarah Pearson, 6 great grandchildren Mackayla and Marleigh Savoy, Camryn Pearson, Julian, Cassiopeia and Tristan Pearson, sisters Thelma (Joseph) Whelton of Saint John and Mabel (Otty) Buchanan of Fredericton and brothers Kenneth (Verna) of Highfield, Ronald of Highfield and Gerald of Sussex as well as several nieces and nephews. Mel was predeceased by his brothers Lewis and Eugene. The family will receive visitors at Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133) on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held Tuesday October 21, 2003 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Reverend David Barrett officiating. Interment will be at the St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Highfield. As expressions of sympathy donations made to A Living Memorial would be appreciated by the family.
