The death of Daryl R. Beers, age 43 of New Line, Sussex NB occurred on September 22, 2005. Daryl was born in Sussex, the only son of Robert and Pauline (Green) Beers and the husband of Julie (Adair) Beers. He was a leader for 11 years of the 1st St. Marks Sussex Corner Beavers and was an active worker with the Southern NB Cattle Penning Club. Daryl had worked with the Department of Transportation for 25 years. He attended Sussex United Baptist Church, loved wood working and was passionate about spending time with his family. Daryl will be sadly missed by his wife Julie, children Andrew, Matthew and Amy, his parents Robert and Pauline Beers of Sussex Corner, sisters Edith and David Brown of Lower Cove and Ivy and Mark Otis of Sussex Corner, one niece, seven nephews and several aunts and uncles. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133) on Sunday from 1-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held Monday September 26, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the Sussex United Baptist Church. Interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Danny & Jessica Angel Foundation or The Salvation Army Lakeview Manor Sunshine Room Fund would be appreciated by the family.
