The death of Roy Hubert Thompson of the Kiwanis Nursing Home occurred at his residence on August 5, 2004. Born in Rawdon Township, ON, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Anna (Smith) Thompson. Roy is survived by his sisters Doris Thompson of Campbellford, ON, Eleanor Thompson, Sylvan Lake, AB, brother Ralph Thompson and wife Ruth of Springbrook, ON, all of Uncle Roy's special nieces and nephews, close friends Mel and Sharon Harris of Cumberland Road, Pat and Clark Graves of Sussex and Richard and Louise Mazerall of Fredericton, and many other friends. In addition to his parents, Roy was predeceased by a brother Jack Thompson. At Roy's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private interment will take place at a later date.
