Mrs. Eva Maria-Martha Sneekes was born in Akersloot, Holland on October 6, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Jaap "Jacob" and Catherine (Stet) Betjes. Eva is survived by Gerry, her beloved husband of 47 years, two daughters: Susan Sneekes of Victoria, BC and Caroline Fry and her husband Rod of Fredericton; her son David Sneekes of Fredericton; four brothers: Cor Betjes and his wife Tinie, Ton Betjes and his wife Marjan, Kees Betjes and his wife Loes all of Holland and Jacob Betjes and Linda of Belgium; three sisters: Riek Bos-Betjes and her husband Fritz, Provincial Mother Superior Mechtild and Martha Adrichem Betjes and her husband Roel all of Holland; five grandchildren: Danielle, Kathleen and Sarah Attoe, Ashley and Spencer Fry; as well as several nieces and nephews.
