Obituary of Madeline M. Soble-Anderson

Madeline M. (nee Wilson) Soble-Anderson, 85, of Quispamsis, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday August 5, 2013. Born in Sussex on September 9, 1927, she was the youngest daughter of the late Nettie Wilson (nee Prosser) and Herbert Wilson. Madeline was a perfect mother; always there to support & love her children and grandchildren. She was very proud of her three homes, where she loved to cook, garden and knit. She really enjoyed going for drives in her “Bumble Bee” (Mini) with Jock, her beloved Scottie. Madeline is survived by her two sons: Lloyd R. Soble, and James R. Anderson, both of Quispamsis; her two daughters: Janice M. Oram (Phillip) of Nauwigewauk, and Heather M. Landry (Jack) of East Saint John; her four grandchildren: Nicholas, Alex, and Caleigh Oram, and Ben Landry; her four great-grandchildren: Max & Ally Oram, and Merishal & Elena Landry. Besides her parents, Madeline was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Oswald Soble; her sisters: Katie Cummings, Lucy McQuoid, and Charlotte Dunsmore; her brothers: James, Joseph, Frederick, John, Levi, Mathew, and Kenneth. She was the last surviving member of her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, (506) 433-2133. There will be no visitation by request; a private funeral service will be held at a later date. Interment will be held in the Kirk Hill Cemetery.
