Obituary of William Walker Hanson
The death of William Walker Hanson of Apohaqui occurred on March 30, 2005 at his residence. Born in Saint John he was a son of the late George and Olga (Walker) Hanson and husband of the late Loretta (Holland) Hanson. Bill was always up for a game of crib, he loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed spending time at his camp and playing the accordion. He is survived by daughters Debbie (John) Fournier of Poodiac, Esther (Earl) Prosser of Riverview, Lynn (Garry) Hutchinson of Sussex and Tammy (Scott) Titus of Apohaqui, sons Dwight Hanson of Hampton, Brian (Leanne) Hanson of New Line, Kevin and Paul Hanson of Apohaqui, twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren, sisters Gladys Sherwood of Upperton, Greta Snodgrass of Sussex, Doris Olsen of Cassidy Lake and Wendy Bach of Poodiac, brother Lloyd (Juanita) Hanson of Sussex Corner and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant son William, sister Parn McKay and brother Gordon Hanson. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Thursday from 7-9 PM and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday April 2, 2005 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place in St. Williams Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to St. William's Church, St. Martins or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
