Obituary of Ossie McFarlane

Mrs. Osla Evelyn McFarlane of Dutch Valley, passed away on April 05, 2008 at the age of 81.

Born in St. Andrews, she was the daughter of the late Lionel  and Doris (Ayles) McCullough and the wife of the late Lloyd McFarlane.

She was a hard working woman, having worked for the Stedmans Department Store. She was a proud member and secretary of the Prince Edward Temple #22 Pythian Sisters and a member and past president of the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20 Ladies Auxilary, Ossie was also a member of St. Marks Anglican Church and their ACW.

Ossie is survived by her brother-in-law, Don and his wife Phyllis; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation was held.

A service celebrating Ossie’s life was held from St. Marks Anglican Church on Wednesday, April 09, 2008 at 11:00 am.
