Obituary of Muriel Faye Newman
It is with great sadness that the family of Muriel Faye Newman announces her death, which occurred on June 8 at her home. Born in East Scotch Settlement, NB, on May 2, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Hazel (McLean) Williams.
Muriel is survived by her husband, Eric Newman; her children: Kelly-Anne Pugh (son in law, Bob Pugh), Lloyd Newman, and Scott Newman (fiancé Cheryl Woitte); her sister, Velzora Newman; her grandchildren: Grant Pugh, Sherry Smith-Pugh, Emily and Matt Black, Kendall and Jesse Brydges, Dawn-Mackenzie, Wyatt Newman, Caleb Newman, Melodie Newman, and Emma Newman; her great-grandchildren: Aidan Smith-Pugh, Eli Smith-Pugh, Locklyn Smith-Pugh, Logan Dawn Brydges, and Pax Brydges; and her honourary grandchildren: Ben Walsh, Tyler Firth, Jesse Fitzsimmons, and Jennifer Buller-Piette.
Along with her parents, Muriel was predeceased by her brothers: Lloyd Williams, Vernon Williams, Albert Jr Williams, Jerome Williams; her sister, Jessie Williams Mcfawn, and Her beloved son, Kevlin Newman
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). Visitation will be held at Outreach Pentecostal Church, 2129 route 124, Hatfield Point, New Brunswick (506-485-2257) on Sunday, June 12 from 2-3pm. A Celebration of Muriel’s Life will take place on Sunday, June 12 at 3 pm, also at the church. Interment will follow at Riverbank Cemetry
