Obituary of Dianne Chown

Passed away in the comfort of her home at the age of 76 on Thursday, October 13, 2022.  Beloved wife of 59 years to Leonard Chown.  Loving mother of the late Michelle, Troy (Cathryn Kallwitz) and Trent (Tiffany Wiles).  Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Freda Little (nee Long).  Cherished sister of the late Gordon Little, Donna O’Conner (Bill) of Surrey, BC and Lori Little of Saint John, NB.  Dianne will be fondly remembered by her many brothers and sisters in law along with her extended family and friends. 

An avid Canadiens, Leafs and Blue Jays fan, Dianne was also a loving mama and proud nana to an extended furry family, who will all miss sitting with her out in the fresh air or on the couch watching games, romantic movies and classic car auctions.

The family would like to thank Ottawa police, fire, paramedics and coroner, and Stephanie and team from Tubman for their compassionate care.  A family Funeral Service will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd), Nepean on Wednesday, October 19 at 6:30 p.m.

Burial will take place at Keirstead Mountain Cemetery on Monday, October 31 at 11:00am.  Flowers or donations to CAMH or the Canadian Cancer Society are greatly appreciated.

A Celebration of Life in New Brunswick will be held with times and dates to be announced.
