Obituary of Glendon Parlee
Glendon was born in Head of Millstream on July 15, 1941, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Miller) Parlee.
Glendon was a retired steel fitter with the Saint John Dry-dock.
He enjoyed hunting,fishing, snowmobiling, his camp in Marrtown, spending time with his family and a good tease.
Glendon was a man who inspired love and laughter. There was nothing he wouldn't do for someone, they didn't even have to ask. He loved his family and always had a treat in his pocket for "the little mice". He loved to get a good surprise and loved giving surprises too.
He is the reigning champion of the washer tournament. We love you and miss you. Hoya Hoya.
Glendon is survived by his wife Marion, three sons: Bob and his wife Suzanne of Quispamsis, Wayne and his wife Pamela of Quispamsis and Stephen and his wife Samantha of Rothesay; two daughters: Ann Neil and her husband Stephen of Riverview and Karen Wagg and her husband James of Edmonton AB; four brothers: David and his wife Loretta of Head of Millstream, Paul and his wife Vickie of St. Thomas, On, William of London, On and Michael and his wife Elaine of Darlings Island; ten grandchildren: Nicholas, Katie, Olivia , Jenna , Stephanie, Andrew , Megan , Ashley , Jessica and Erin; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Glendon Joseph Parlee of Quispamsis, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 14, 2008 at the age of 66.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation was held on Wednesday, January 16, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
A service celebrating Mr. Parlee’s life was held from Saint Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Chur on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 11:00 am.
